On behalf of the Applicant, JUWI Renewable Energies (Pty) Ltd, notice is hereby given in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), as amended (NEMA) and the 2014 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations, as amended, that the Final EIA Report was submitted to Competent Authority, the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment and that Environmental Authorisation (EA) was granted for the proposed large-scale Carpe Diem South Solar Photovoltaic Plant (SPP) with associated infrastructure, situated on Portion 27 of Farm Doornfontein No. 118 IQ, within the Merafong City Local Municipality, Gauteng.
