About Us

We are a level 1 Broad Based Black Economic Empowered Entity (B-BBEE) which is a 84.7% female black-owned enterprise.

The company was established in June 2017 and is owned and managed by Kim Pontac.

Legacy EMC has recently acquired a 100% stake in Withers Environmental Consultants, and together will be able to offer a greater range of environmental services. With an increased service offering, 50+ years of combined experience and a larger staff compliment, we believe this acquisition will provide our clients with added value and peace of mind.

Legacy EMC offers a broad range of environmental services for a wide variety of sectors.

We are well equipped to adapt our service to clients expectations throughout the project life cycle from planning and design to construction, operation and decommissioning. Our service offering is focused on due diligence assessments, environmental impact assessments, waste management, coastal planning, renewable energy and legal advisory services.
