Legacy Environmental Management Consulting (Pty) Ltd (Legacy EMC) has been appointed by Umvoto Africa (Pty) Ltd (Umvoto) on behalf of its client, Overstrand Municipality, as the independent consultant to undertake the construction related compliance audits as required in terms of the conditions of the environmental authorisation (EA) granted to the Hemel en Aarde Wellfield Expansion project, in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998) (NEMA) issued by the Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning (DEA&DP) Directorate Development Management (Region 1), as the Competent Authority (CA).
