On behalf of the Applicant, JUWI Renewable Energies (Pty) Ltd, notice is given in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), as amended (NEMA), the 2014 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations, as amended, as well as the National Water Act, 1998 (Act No. 36 of 1998), as amended (NWA), of the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Assessment Report (DEIR) and associated documents for an application for Environmental Authorisation for the  proposed Eland Solar Photovoltaic Plant (SPP) with associated infrastructure, situated within the Emakhazeni Local Municipality.

This notice serves to inform the public that a DEIR is available for review and comment for a minimum of 30 days, from Monday, 07 October - Wednesday, 06 November 2024.
