Notice is hereby given in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act 107 of 1998), as amended (NEMA) (as amended), and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations, 2014 (as amended) and the National Water Act, 1998 (Act No. 36 of 1998), as amended (NWA), of an of an Application for Environmental Authorisation (EA) for the proposed Durbanville Industrial Development on Erf 1991, Portion 26 of Farm Joostenberg Vlakte No. 724 and Portion 5 of Farm Joostenberg Vlakte No. 724, Fisantekraal, City of Cape Town.

This notice also serves to inform the public that a Draft Basic Assessment Report (BAR) and Environmental Management Programme (EMPr) are available for comment.

Members of the public are hereby invited to register as interested and/or affected parties (I&APs) and/or to submit written comments on the Draft BAR, and on the Water Use Authorisation (WUA) in terms of the NWA on or before 23 February 2024.
