PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROCESS OF THE DRAFT BASIC ASSESSMENT REPORT APPLICATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION FOR THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF OXIDATION PONDS AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE ON FARM 275, FARM 269, AND REMAINDER OF FARM 187, PAPENDORP, WESTERN CAPE

Notice is hereby given to Interested and/or Affected Parties (I&APs) that the Draft Basic Assessment Report including supporting information will be available for review and comment until Friday, 12 January 2024. I&APs are requested to submit comments in writing via email, fax, SMS, or WhatsApp on or before 12 January 2024 on the Environmental Authorisation Process, and before 09 February 2024 on the Water Use Authorisation Process to the Legacy EMC Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) as indicated.

Note: during your interaction with Legacy EMC, it may be necessary for us to process your personal information, as contemplated in the Protection of Personal Information Act, Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Also, note that all comments submitted by I&APs to our office will become public information, unless it is requested in writing by the I&AP to keep comments and/or contact details, confidential.
